A little about me and my qualifications.

ACEs affect people from varying socio-economic backgrounds, ethnicities, and genders. Often

times they are transgenerational and are not labelled as adverse childhood experiences. It is

common to believe that if you had a roof over your head and food to eat you had a good childhood. We

push from our minds the times we witnessed verbal abuse, neglect or manipulation from a parent-figure.

The times we saw physical abuse, felt as though no one cared for us or thought that no one believed

you were important. Each of the above is considered an ACE, and the more ACEs you have, the higher

the likelihood is of experiencing major health issues, fractured relationships and/or unstable mental

health.

I have worked with people who have experienced all of the ACEs and some scenarios that are not yet

qualified as an "ACE". Exploring your family dynamics, the role you had within your family, and learning more about your

attachment style is empowering. I am here to work alongside you to discover your cognitive patterns and work towards your personal goals.
